Arrests made in August chainsaw larcenies

KINGSBURY (WRGB) The Washington County Sheriff's Office has arrested two people in connection with the larcenies of several chainsaws in August.

The arrests follow a joint investigation with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office and the Queensbury barracks of the New York State Police.

The investigation found that Leslie F. Allen Jr., 38, and Krista S. Jenkins, 25, stole several chainsaws from Falls Farm and Garden on Dix Avenue in Kingsbury in August of this year.

Allen, who is currently being held in Saratoga County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, was arraigned in Town of Kingsbury Court, charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a class D Felony, and remanded to Saratoga County.

Jenkins was arraigned in Central Arraignment Proceedings, charged with Grand Larceny 4th, a class E Felony, and released pending future court appearances.
