BURNT HILLS, NY (WRGB)--In each of the last two seasons, Burnt-Hill Ballston Lake boys volleyball has reached the regional finals, and come up just short.
Last year the Spartans let a 2-1 set lead slip away as Oswego ended BH-BL's season.
After that disappointing loss, the lone senior on the team said "next year, there's no doubt that these guys can make it back and win."
The redemption run is already underway with BH-BL hosting it's first home match of the season with Columbia in town.
Spartans have already built a 10-point lead in the opening set.
If Columbia wants a comeback, feed it to Daniel Watson as the senior drops the hammer.
Chalk up the kill, but the Blue Devils trail 13-4.
That spike worked, but most of the time, Columbia couldn't get the ball passed the big fella.
BH-BL wins in straight sets.
